NLP: Neuro Linguistic Programming
What is Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)?
- The study of human excellence
- The study of how mind (neuro) and language (linguistic) interface to create our internal programs and our reality (programming)
- The study of subjective experience
NLP is a branch of cognitive psychology developed in the USA in the 1970s. Personal coaches, therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, and business consultants use NLP to assist people in transforming their lives, their relationships, and their goals. NLP includes a number of patterns for changing how people perceive the world around them, so they have the resources they need when they’re faced with challenging situations.
What is HNLP (Humanistic Neuro-Linguistic Psychology™)?
HNLP is the study of how the mind creates reality through language and behavior. No matter what you think you are, you are always more than that! John Overdurf and Julie Silverthorn coined the term Humanistic Neuro-Linguistic Psychology™ to describe their branch of NLP. Their extensive research in quantum physics, ancient spiritual systems, hypnosis, neuro-science, and the experience of life led them to create this natural extension of traditional NLP.
Why should I consider NLP/HNLP Therapeutic Sessions?
NLP is the study of Human Excellence and involves many techniques that cause change, undeniably. If you want change in a relatively short period of time, NLP – and hypnosis – can be successful routes. Talk therapy is nice and it does help, but in order to alleviate deep negative programming, more intervention is usually needed.
NLP and HNLP Training
We offer not only life-changing sessions in both of these powerful practices, but conduct training seminars for people wishing to become more knowledgeable on these areas of neuro-psychology, in order to, perhaps, offer it as part of their own practice. Along with other expert practitioners, we offer NLP trainings twice a year, and hypnosis and public speaking trainings once a year. Click here to see the upcoming NLP trainings.
